The Windrush Generation Legacy Association (WGLA) offers a community outreach program that includes a
free over-50s coffee morning, held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 11 am to 1 pm. The primary goal of this club is to foster community ties, alleviate loneliness, and offer opportunities for attendees to learn from guest speakers as well as from each other.
It’s an open invitation to everyone interested in participating. To ensure a welcoming and engaging environment, the WGLA provides a complimentary light snack and refreshments at every meeting.
This initiative is part of their broader effort to create an enduring legacy for successive generations, celebrating the contributions and heritage of the Windrush generation within the community.
