We aim to foster community ties, combat loneliness, and provide opportunities to engage with guest speakers on a range of topics, celebrating the contributions and culture of the Windrush generation.

The large gallery space is used with one half playing host to a permanent exhibition about UK Windrush generation homes, and the other, a rotating exhibition, we also have a large space in the centre for events.

    Our main community hub and office are located in the Whitgift Centre in Croydon, London. We also host events and activities across London and the UK.

    Yes, one of our core missions is education. We offer seminars, workshops, and heritage exhibitions. We are also developing a dedicated Resources section , which will include timelines, articles, and potentially downloadable materials for learning about the Windrush Generation.

    We are always keen to hear and preserve personal stories related to the Windrush Generation. Please contact us to discuss how you can share your family’s history or contribute to our oral history projects.

We organize a diverse range of events, including:

  • Heritage exhibitions and fairs (including our upcoming exhibitions at Westfield centres and the Whitgift Centre)
